What we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Operation Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the technical operations team. This includes managing projects and activities, developing budgets, leading multiple teams and ensuring delivery of projects on time and within budget.

About the role

The Technical Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the TooMuchWifi technical operations team, including scheduling time, managing performance, supply and logistics, identifying training needs and providing recommendations for personnel actions. He/She will monitor all progress, performance, quality and timeliness of all duties assigned to the technical operations team.

What you will be doing

  • Promote safety awareness amongst the technical operations team and assure compliance with safety regulations and reporting.
  • Ensure that all technicians have the proper safety equipment and follow safety policies.
  • Ensure disciplinary actions regarding violations of safety policies are enforced.
  • Support and drive the development of the technical operations team.
  • Interview, coach, train, monitor and evaluate the technicians fostering a team environment.
  • Perform field observations while supporting and developing technicians and monitor and assess technical and customer performance and quality.
  • Ensure the quality of installations, repairs and maintenance meets company standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensure completion of scheduled work by overseeing technicians daily activities.
  • Provide direction and participate in the repair escalated technical issues.
  • Manage technical performance metrics, evaluate performance gaps and develop techs knowledge, skills and ability to meet company and customer expectations.
  • Monitor system KPIs and manage operations to meet or exceed system goals.
  • Manage inventory control and maintenance by performing vehicle, tools and material inspections.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years technical Operations experience couple with a minimum of 1 year of experience at supervisory level.. 
  • Diploma or bachelors degree in business administration or related through a reputable tertiary institution.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunication industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
