What we are looking for

A detail-oriented and proactive office administrator with a passion for community impact and efficient coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organised, confident in engaging with diverse internal departments, and skilled at coordinating schedules, logistics, data analysis, and reporting. You will play a key supporting role in ensuring the Community Engagement team runs smoothly and can focus on delivering real change in the communities we serve.



What you will be doing

Administrative and Operational Support (Office Bound Role)
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics for all community engagement events, meetings, and activities.


  • Record and collate weekly field staff (Community Engagement Specialists) schedules and client visit plans.


  • Updating databases, and filing structures for community outreach documentation.


  • Support the Community Engagement Lead in  preparing reports, presentations, and minutes taking.


  • Support the Community Engagement Team track project progress, follow up on outstanding tasks, and ensure timelines are met.


Documentation and Compliance
  • Work closely with the Community Engagement Lead to ensure detailed recording of completed files for all Memorandums of Understanding & Memorundums of Agreement (MOUs & MOAs) and Lease Agreement documents with community stakeholders.


  • Work closely with the Community Engagement Lead to ensure accurate record-keeping and version control of all signed documentation.


  • Work closely with the legal and compliance teams as directed by the Community Engagement Lead to ensure all documents meet Company requirements.


Community Engagement Assistance
  • Assist with coordinating community meetings, forums, and outreach activities.


Collaboration and Communication
  • Assist the Community Engagement Team as the internal liaison for the Community Engagement team by coordinating with departments such as Commercial, Network, and Customer Operations.


  • Support the smooth flow of information between the team.


  • Capture community feedback and flag potential issues or opportunities to the Community Engagement Lead.


Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting
  • Support the Community Engagement Team by compiling data from community outreach activities.


  • Assist in the creation of monthly dashboards and impact reports using advanced spreadsheet functions.



  • Use Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, charts) to interpret engagement metrics and financial data to inform decision-making.



Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • Matric certificate required; post-matric qualification in administration, social sciences, business, public or community development preferred.


  • 3 Months in an administrative or data support role, ideally within community outreach or non-profit environments.


  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with numbers and large datasets.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data visualisation).


  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — ability to relate to diverse stakeholders.


  • Fluent in English; isiXhosa proficiency is highly advantageous.
