What we are looking for

TooMuchWifi is looking for an experienced Warehouse and Fleet Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily warehouse activities.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse assistants, implementing stock monitoring, quality and customer services standards and systems.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing purchasing, receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization within multiple distribution centres.
  • Managing warehouse and fleet staff, including hiring, supervising, evaluating, and scheduling.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance.
  • Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
  • Identify areas of improvement and adjust existing work procedures and practices accordingly.
  • Monitor the team’s performance.
  • Ensure warehouse health and safety compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure the warehouse security protocols including access controls are implemented, monitored and maintained.
  • Manage ethical disposal of waste or goods written off by the company.
  • Manage the company fleet and staff.
  • Liaise with relevant couriers between various distribution centres.

Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • A Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Must have a Valid PDP driver’s licence and roadworthy vehicle.
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Warehouse Manager.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
