What we are looking for

An experienced sales and customer relationship management professional to grow and support our Reseller network within the townships of Cape Town.

About the role

The Reseller Specialist reports directly to the Product Growth Manager and is responsible for expanding our Reseller network, providing exceptional customer service support, coordinating branding requirements, and driving sales through effective key account management.

What you will be doing

  • Sales and Revenue Generation
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify and sign up new Resellers, expanding the network within designated areas.
  • Present and communicate the Company’s product offerings and pricing accurately to potential and existing Resellers.
  • Key Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Resellers, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Provide comprehensive onboarding and ongoing support to ensure Resellers are well-educated on our products and services.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with open communication channels between Resellers and the company.
  • Performance and KPI Management
  • Establish and meet specific KPIs for reseller sales, including revenue generation, hotspot uptime, and voucher sales targets.
  • Implement performance-based incentives to motivate Resellers to meet and exceed their KPIs.
  • Training and Development
  • Provide comprehensive training programs to equip Resellers with the skills needed for effective sales and customer service.
  • Enable or identify branding opportunities for our Reseller locations.
  • Support and Resources
  • Offer ongoing support and resources, such as marketing materials and technical assistance, to help Resellers succeed in their roles.
  • Manage and maintain accurate Reseller information on the Company’s system.
  • Customer and Technical Support
  • Provide exceptional customer and technical support to Resellers, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with other team members in the Hotspot, sales, and marketing departments to drive Reseller support and networking efforts.
  • Adaptation and Flexibility
  • Allow flexibility for Resellers to adapt their strategies based on market conditions and customer feedback.
  • Attend Company events when required to promote our brand and support Reseller engagement.

Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • Matric / Grade 12. Relevant tertiary qualifications will be an advantage.
  • Must be proficient in one in Somalia, Ethiopian or Xhosa and can speak, read, and write in English.
  • At least 1 year of previous sales and customer service experience with the retailer space. 
  • Must live or have lived in a local township in Cape Town.
  • Self-starter with a strong will to succeed.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communicator with excellent people skills.
  • Basic computer skills or the ability to perform simple tasks on the Company’s reporting system.
  • Must own a working smartphone, have own transport, and a valid driver’s license. (Non-negotiable)
  • Must be willing to utilise their car for work purposes 
  • Must have basic technical skills 
  • Be flexible and able to work in all areas.
