What we are looking for

a skilled and experienced IT Administrator with a strong background in IT Engineering to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining office systems, ensuring security, and providing technical support while also engaging in IT engineering projects such as system integrations, process automation and people-based IT Engineering tasks like device management, employee onboarding/offboarding, and HR systems support.

About the role

The IT Manager will manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, compliance, and technical support. The role involves overseeing IT assets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and leading IT engineering projects such as system integrations, process automation, and device management. The IT Administrator will also handle employee onboarding/offboarding, maintain disaster recovery plans, and collaborate with HR to streamline IT processes. Strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage IT systems are essential for this role.

What you will be doing

  • Device Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity best practices.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation planning.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for IT-related issues.
  • Assist end-users with software and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Manage IT helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • IT Engineering and System Integration:
  • Design and deploy IT solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement automations for IT processes.
  • Collaborate with Software and Network teams on IT infrastructure needs.
  • Software and Hardware Management:
  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions for IT Assessment management.
  • Oversee procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Audit regular system backups and recovery tests.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain up-to-date IT Asset documentation, including workflow diagrams, configurations, and policies.
  • Generate reports on system performance, incident management, and IT projects.
  • People-Based IT Engineering Tasks:
  • Manage company devices, ensuring proper configuration, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning/deprovisioning accounts, access rights, and IT assets.
  • Provide support and maintenance for HR systems, ensuring seamless integration with IT infrastructure.
  • Work with HR and other departments to streamline IT processes related to workforce management.

Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field otherwise in field experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT administration and IT-Engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.
  • Experience with platforms such as Atlassian Suite, Google Suite. Intune, JAMF, Slack, Connect Teams
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and tools, 
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and employee account provisioning. Okta, Azure Exchange, Sage HR, Hi Bob,
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in PCI and ISO27001 environments is a plus
