What we are looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven, and target-oriented individual to join our team as a Digital Sales Specialist. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, with a strong bias for action and results. You must be self-motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently, maintaining relentless focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.

About the role

This role demands someone who excels at converting digital leads into sales through a combination of digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, Click-to-Messenger, WhatsApp, and referrals. The successful candidate will prioritize speed in customer response, conduct thorough customer needs analysis, and aggressively engage with leads to drive high conversion rates, offering the most appropriate solutions to meet customer needs. Your ability to act quickly, stay laser-focused, and push for results will be key to your success in this role.

What you will be doing

  • Lead Management:
  • Proactively manage incoming leads from Facebook Click-to-Messenger, Google Ads, portal inquiries, Instagram, WhatsApp, referral programs, and all other digital channels with a relentless focus on driving conversions. 
  • Prioritise and handle leads with urgency, pushing for immediate engagement and follow-ups to maximise conversion rates. Target from enquiry to customer engagement should be less than 10 minutes. 
  • Ensure leads are rapidly contacted, updated, funnelled, and moved through the sales pipeline by working closely with the digital marketing team, creating a seamless, high-pressure sales process. This includes making recommendations to optimise customer connectivity tools and processes including the outbound dialer, social media platforms and whatsapp. 
  • Maintaining minimum customer call rates, connection rates, and engagement rates to drive leads to sales conversion at all times. Targets must be hit hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly, pushing hard to exceed quotas and maintain momentum in every interaction.
  • Digital Sales Conversion:
  • Drive aggressive conversion of digital leads into sales, capitalising on speed, persistence, and a results-driven approach across Facebook, Google Ads, Click-to-WhatsApp, Instagram, and other digital platforms. 
  • Use outbound calls and digital communication tools with the urgency of closing deals swiftly, leaving no opportunity on the table. Every conversation is a sale waiting to happen—push for commitment at every step.
  • Leverage product knowledge, customer need analysis, rapport building and customer buying signals  to close deals, overcoming objections and positioning upsell opportunities to maximise every lead’s value.
  • Product and Service Recommendations:
  • Proactively recommend products and services to customers with an assertive, tailored approach based on digital interaction data, creating personalised offers that close the deal quickly.
  • Drive promotional offers and digital sales campaigns as hard-hitting tools to increase engagement and purchases, pushing customers to act now rather than later, turning interest into immediate sales.

Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • Matric (minimum requirement).
  • At least 3 year of strong outbound sales experience with verifiable achievement of exceeding targets.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a sales contact centre environment 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in two languages.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and responding to comments and messages.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to de-escalate stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of social media products, services and trends.
