Data Analyst

A talented and motivated data analyst with proven experience to contribute to our data analytics capabilities.

This role is responsible for identifying trends, collecting information and interpreting data to obtain a deep understanding of our company and the markets we operate in, and share accurate insights with the executive and management team.

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources and ensure data quality and reliability.
• Improve data validation, transformation process and format.
• Identify patterns, trends and anomalies in data.
• Provide insights for decision making.
• Apply statistical techniques and data mining algorithms to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets.
• Create effective and accurate dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
• Develop predictive models and forecasting algorithms to identify future trends and outcomes based on historical data.
• Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
• Present results in a clear manner.
• Propose solutions and strategies to address business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, plans and challenges, and collect and analyse relevant data.
• Use creative graphs, infographics and other methods to visualise data.

• Bachelor’s degree: Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a data analyst with expertise in data analysis, statistical modelling, and visualisation.
• An effective communicator with good presentation skills of technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• SQL, Python, R, or SAS proficiency.
• PowerBI and/or Tableau experience.
• A team player and a great collaborator.
• Experience in using R, Python, or any other Statistical tools are highly advantageous.
