What are we looking for

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Field Marketing Manager to lead our end-to-end field marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field marketing directly in the Toomuchwifi communities, bias for action and delivery, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. About the role

As a Field Marketing Manager at TooMuchWifi, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive field marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, community trust, demand, and lead generation in the communities we serve. This role will require you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Community Experience, Digital Marketing, and leadership.

What you will be doing

Brand Management

  • Maximise TMWFs field brand presence in the communities and provide a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.
  • Roll out new branding across all touchpoints, including out-of-home, retail, community, and field branding.
  • Drive sourcing, development, distribution, quality checks, and maintenance of branded locations, apparel, assets, and creatives.
  • Collaborate with the in-house Artist teams on creation and tracking of branded murals and provide brand guidance.
  • Ensure that TMWF branding is everywhere in the communities we serve. 

Community Engagement and Field Marketing

  • Develop and execute the regional go-to-market (GTM) field strategy to generate brand awareness, community trust, demand, and accelerate lead generation in the communities in new communities. 
  • Develop and execute monthly field strategy and plans per existing community to generate brand awareness, community trust, demand, defend market share and accelerate lead generation in the communities in new communities.
  • Support Community Engagement efforts collaborate with the Community Engagement Manager and Area Leaders to identify community investment and marketing opportunities.
  • Plan and manage community and regional activations, events, launches, community events, and field marketing activities.

Team Management

  • Lead a team of:
  • Brand Artists and Painters: responsible for creating branded murals and artwork.
  • Field Marketing Teams: responsible for executing field marketing initiatives.
  • Outsourced Field Marketing Partners: responsible for providing additional support for field marketing initiatives.
  • KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Teams: responsible for managing influencer partnerships.
  • Mall Activations Team: responsible for planning and executing mall activations.
  • Event Teams: responsible for planning and executing events.
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members as needed.
  • Manage team performance, KPIs, providing regular feedback, coaching and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and develop team members as per the hiring plans

Partnerships

  • Secure and manage partnerships that enhance our brand experience and support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with partners on large-scale events, such as:
  • Sporting events, Concerts, Community events, Activations
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with our brand values and goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including:
  • Event organizers, Venue managers, Influencers, Community leaders
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between partners, internal stakeholders, and external agencies.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Generate reports by capturing and analysing the appropriate data/metrics, insights, and best practices.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of field marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Administration and Operations

  • Manage and maintain field marketing budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution of field marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • A relevant degree in Marketing and / or demonstrated on-the-job experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Field Marketing Manger 
  • Proficient in using email marketing, WhatsApp, social media, design and CRM tools as well as MS Office.
  • Solid project management skills and experience managing field marketing teams directly in the communities we serve at Toomuchwifi

  • Compensation commensurate with experience.
  • Own transport and drivers licence, along with the willingness to utilise your vehicle to execute your duties. 
  • Leadership and management experience in leading several layers on field team members 
  • This role is 50% field based and 50% office base and will require working outside of traditional office hours
