What we are looking for

An enthusiastic Sales Representative who currently lives in a township based in Cape Town, and who are passionate about engaging with potential new and existing customers to represent our TooMuchWifi brand in the respective communities we serve, actively sell our affordable air fibre products, and retain customers by providing excellent customer service.



About the role

This role reports into the Area Leader and requires in community presence on a daily basis for driving sales, attending company organised sales activations and events. Standard days of work required is from Tuesday to Saturdays.

What you will be doing

The Community Sales Representative will report to an Area Leader and focus on generating sales for the Company:


  • Understand the Company’s product offering and pricing to accurately present and communicate to potential customers.
  • Effectively generate leads and convert to sales.
  • Be guided by the Area Leader on which areas to focus on.
  • Confirm network coverage with the Area Leader before entering areas to drive sales efforts.
  • Report all leads on the Company’s system as demonstrated.
  • Understand and achieve monthly KPIs.
  • Attend and partake in community sales activations, as directed by leadership.
  • Must successfully complete the Company’s training programmes such as company induction and onboarding, and product, service and system training.
  • Adhere to the Company’s standards, policies, and procedures at all times.


Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Matric.
  • Sales or customer service qualification/s will be an advantage.
  • Basic work experience and/or student/graduate.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Must live or have lived in a local community (township) covered by TooMuchWifi.
  • Self-starter with a strong will to succeed.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communicator, good people skills
  • Proficient in at least two official South African languages.
  • Basic computer skills or able to perform simple tasks on the Company’s sales reporting system.
  • Must own a working cell phone.
  • Be flexible and able to work in all areas.
