What we are looking for

A passionate and energetic Field Recruiter who is passionate about sourcing talent with a strong focus on the right fit for each role and achieving the company’s hiring targets.

About the role

As a Field Recruiter at TooMuchWifi, you will play a vital role in identifying and attracting top talent to meet our organisation’s needs. You will work closely without sales, marketing and technical operations managers and join them in the communities during activations to recruit and to ensure hiring targets are achieved.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and technical operations team managers to achieve sales recruitment needs and targets.
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches for sourcing suitable candidates and for effective networking within our communities.
  • Attend weekly community-based events to drive recruitment efforts and in-person engagements with community members and councils.
  • Conducts exploratory interviews on an ongoing basis to keep consistent pipeline of talent.
  • Proactively develop talent pipelines through social media, internet search tools, networking by walking the malls and attending job fairs, resume mining, and researching talent within the telecommunications industry.
  • Organise and facilitate the new employee onboarding sessions for the marketing, sales and technical operations departments (field teams).
  • Monitor the completion of the probationary period check-ins and ensure all feedback is submitted.
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates internally and externally by developing networking relationships to include succession planning.
  • Manage the entire recruitment and collection process for the field teams.
  • Maintain job postings on career page and all other employment websites.
  • Identify new resources (advertising channels, databases, networks, suppliers) to drive candidate identification and attraction.
  • Maintain all relevant admin and provide mid-month and month-end reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's HR policies and procedures.

Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • National Diploma or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related.
  • 2 to 3 years of recruitment experience (preferably in agency environment).
  • A good understanding of and experience in recruitment for sales and marketing roles.
  • Bulk recruitment experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluent in English and Xhosa.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must have own vehicle, valid driver and working cellphone.
