Junior Finance Controller

To support TonyBet’s ambitious expansion plans, we are looking for a Junior Finance Controller to join the HQ Finance team. This person will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate closely on a daily basis with the whole Finance Team.

The role is based in Riga. While hybrid working is possible, we anticipate a designated amount of time to be spent in the office cooperating with other team members.

• Assist in month-end closing processes in designated markets.
• Process Group invoices and coordinate corresponding approval flow.
• Implement and maintain reconciliation procedures.
• Control accounting data quality and collaborate closely with internal and external accountants.
• Calculate local gaming taxes and participate in the process optimization.
• Take lead in payment providers reconciliation process.
• Develop and maintain documentation of the procedures relevant to the assigned markets.
• Assist in various projects related to active engagement with other departments.

• Completed bachelor’s program in Finance/ Accounting / Business Administration fields.
• Previous experience in external audit, finance control, full-cycle accounting, or similar position, preferably in an international environment, will be considered as a strong advantage.
• Self-driven, resilient, able to quickly adapt and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high accuracy and sense of responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships in a multi-cultural environment.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Advanced level of English. Russian or Latvian knowledge is preferred.
