We are looking for an experienced Sponsorship Activation Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive activation plans for our existing and upcoming sponsorships. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong day-to-day working relationships with sponsors, ensuring best in class activation and contractual compliance.

This role requires a strategic and creative thinker as the focus really is on finding new, creative ways to bring our partnerships to life and maximise their impact across various channels of communication.

The role can be based in Riga or Gibraltar.


Activation Strategy. Develop and implement activation plans in alignment with overall sponsorship objectives. Define key objectives and performance metrics for each sponsorship activation based on local regulation and available communication channels.

Relationship Management. Build strong relationships with rights-holders, agencies and internal teams involved in the cycle of sponsorship activation.

Contractual Compliance. Ensure all activation efforts adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in sponsorship agreements. Monitor compliance with contractual obligations on both sides.

Event Management. Plan and execute events associated with sponsorships.

Coordinate logistics, promotions, and brand integration at sponsored events.

Brand Integration. Oversee the effective integration of branding across various platforms and channels. Ensure consistent and impactful representation of the brand in all activation efforts.

Activation campaigns. Work with internal stakeholders such as the Social Media Team to develop comprehensive activation plans and implement campaigns to maximize the brand visibility via sponsorship deals.

Content Creation. Collaborate with content creators as well as talent coming through our partnerships to develop engaging marketing content. Create and curate content for social media, website, blogs and other platforms.

Data Analysis and Reporting. Track and analyze the performance of sponsorship activations.

Ensure regular reporting showcasing key metrics and ROI.

Budget Management. Manage the budget allocated for sponsorship activation initiatives.

Optimize spending to achieve maximum impact within financial constraints.

Stakeholder Communication. Communicate regularly with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on activation plans.


Innovation and Creativity. Stay updated on innovative industry trends and best practices.

Introduce creative ideas to enhance sponsorship activations.

Legal Compliance. Ensure that all sponsorship activations comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.


  • Experience in sports sponsorship activation and proven record of implementing creative, out-of-the-box solutions in that field.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between brand management and sponsorship activation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sports sponsorship industry.
  • Experience in running events and on-site activations.
  • Strong understanding of the social media infrastructure and opportunities in presents for sponsorship activation.
  • Ability to report on data and to package it into actionable insight.
