Finance Controller

We are looking for a Finance Controller who would join HQ Finance team, which already has two controllers. The person will report to and work in close cooperation with Group CFO. The role can be based in Riga or Tallinn. Hybrid working is possible, but we expect certain time spent in the office with other team members.

• Create and manage month closing processes in designated countries, including new operations.
• Control revenue and expense bookings’ data quality to ensure quality reporting.
• Take the lead in reconciling various incomes statement and balance sheet items related to revenue cycle.
• Coordinate local entity audits and local work related to group audit.
• Calculate local gaming taxes, tax-eligible client bonuses and other items related to the revenues generated in various markets and entities.
• Work together with Financial analyst to prepare management reports covering different time periods.
• Develop and maintain finance and accounting practices and related documentation relevant to the assigned markets.
• Contribute to various Finance cross-border projects, e.g. group-accounting system rollout, reporting automation, transfer pricing, post-M&A integrations.

• At least 2 years of experience in external audit, finance control or full-cycle accounting or similar position, preferably in an international environment.
• Graduated bachelor program in Finance/ Accounting / Business administration fields.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles. Completion of ACCA or similar program, knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel. Working experience with BI tools and/or knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
• Self-driven, resilient, able to quickly adapt and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships in a multi-cultural environment.
• Advanced English (at least B2 level). Knowledge of other EU languages may provide an additional edge.
