Operational Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operational Manager to join our growing team in Riga. In this pivotal role, you will drive operational strategy, optimize processes, and lead a cross-functional team across multiple critical business areas.

• Operational Leadership: Develop and execute the operational strategy in alignment with organisational goals. Drive efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement across all operational functions in close collaboration with the central teams in the group. Implement operational best practices and processes to enhance overall effectiveness.
• Team Management: Recruit, lead, and develop a cross-functional operational team. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
• Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational effectiveness. Streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements. Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners. Be the main point of contact of operational group functions such as payments, risk & fraud, finance etc.
• Risk Management: Manage the existing risk management framework, ensuring its effectiveness in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. Collaborate with relevant teams to integrate risk management into day-to-day operations. Proactively address potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Commercial Integration: Work closely with the commercial teams to build the brand successfully in the different markets Collaborate on strategic initiatives to maximize market presence and drive business growth.
• Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and efficiency of operational processes. Implement data-driven decision-making to drive operational excellence.

• 5+ years of experience in an operational management role.
• Experience within the online gambling industry is a big plus, but not an absolute requirement.
• Affinity for the industry is however essential.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in presenting and mitigating issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse teams.

• Gross salary range: 4300-6000 EUR.
