We are looking for a motivated DPO/Security Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring compliance with data protection regulations while contributing to our information security efforts. This role is perfect for someone with a mix of technical expertise and a strong understanding of data protection requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all data protection-related queries and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
  • Maintain and update the company’s data protection policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new and existing processes.
  • Perform regular audits of access rights to ensure data is only accessible by authorized personnel.
  • Provide data protection training to employees and ensure awareness across the organization.
  • Handle data breach incidents, including reporting to relevant authorities and managing internal response efforts.
  • Assist with ISO 27001 compliance, including preparation of necessary documentation, policies, and ISMS procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with IT and IS standards.
  • Provide technical support related to security issues and collaborate with IT teams on implementing security measures.
  • Ensure business continuity through regular backups of critical systems and data.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining SIEM systems (e.g., Wazuh) and security monitoring.
  • Support and advise users on IT security and data protection best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (DPO, IT Security Expert, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws.
  • Experience with ISO 27001:2022 or other security frameworks.
  • Experience in access management and user account administration.
  • Familiarity with conducting DPIAs and handling data protection incidents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying risks.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
