As a Technical Compliance Specialist at TonyBet, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the company’s technical systems and processes adhere to regulatory requirements in the respective jurisdictions and align with industry standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining technical compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and license conditions.

Regulatory Framework:

• Monitor, analyse, interpret and structure the technical regulatory requirements of various jurisdictions;
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements for compliance and guide the development team on necessary adjustments;
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation;
• Research and implement best industry practices in compliance;

Internal and External audits:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, testing labs, service providers, and advisors, on technical compliance topics;
• Lead in technical certification projects, internal and external audits of the technical systems;
• Create checklists and perform regular assessments of technological systems to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards;
• Advise stakeholders on the potential risks related to technical compliance;

Platform Technical Compliance

• Perform technical gap analysis of the technical systems for new markets;
• Create and review tasks for the technical systems implementation/development;
• Conduct regular testing and monitoring of systems to identify and resolve any compliance issues in order to ensure compliance with regulations and laws;
• Manage the regulatory change management process for technical systems / processes;
• Serve as point of contact for and assist in troubleshooting regulatory breaches and compliance incidents;

Regulatory Reporting

• Compile and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports to relevant authorities;
• Oversee the operation of Control Data Bases used to communicate and exchange data with regulators.
• Coordinate with IT and development teams to implement necessary changes or updates to meet compliance obligations.

• University degree, vocational training in IT field and / or proven experience in Technical Project Management or Technical Solution Development;
• Basic understanding of IT development cycles, online product management, website structures, data base structures, online product management;
• Basic understanding of law, regulations, international relations;
• Ability to think analytically (formalize, structure, standardize and format large amounts of information;
• Ability to extrapolate from the limited information, solve technical challenges, develop both procedural and technical solutions;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are a must;
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is a must;
• English level required: intermediate (B2) / advanced (C1) technical and legal;
• MS office tools.

Nice to have:

• Professional certifications related to compliance and online gambling, law, project management;
• Previous experience in AML and / or RG related matters
• Experience in working with gambling regulations, licensing requirements, technical standards, reporting processes and industry best practices;
• Experience in technical compliance management within the online gaming industry;
• Experience in IT, IT project management, web-development;
• Understanding of intercultural communication ;
• Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Estonian or other language knowledge.
