An experienced Content Strategy & Campaigns Manager with experience marketing to Township audiences to drive the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns that amplify our brand visibility, engage and nurture our target audience, and generate tangible results. 

About the role

The Content Strategy & Campaigns Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and optimising multi-channel campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analysing campaign performance to achieve our marketing objectives. The Content Strategy & Campaigns Manager reports to the Commercial Executive.

What you will be doing

  • Promote Wifi products and services to target audiences in underserved markets (Townships).
  • Develop comprehensive marketing campaign and nurture program strategies in alignment with our overall marketing objectives and business goals. Define target audience, key messages, and campaign KPIs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns and nurture programs across various channels, including digital, social media, email, WhatsApp, SMS, events, field marketing, and other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct customer segmentation and develop a content plan that maps customer segments with the right content  to drive engagement across the customer lifecycle.
  • Create compelling and persuasive content and messaging that resonates with our audience and aligns with brand guidelines, driving awareness, demand, sales, loyalty, and advocacy.
  • Ensure all content and copy align with our brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels.
  • Define campaign requirements, develop campaign briefs, and align with key stakeholders across graphic designer, copywriting, social media, UI/UX.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Software) to ensure seamless execution of campaign elements. 
  • Manage campaign budgets efficiently, allocating resources to different channels and tactics to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI).
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, including conversion rates, click-through rates (CTRs), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and overall ROI. Use data-driven insights to optimise campaigns for better results.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, and utilise this information to inform campaign strategies.
  • Prepare regular campaign performance reports for management and stakeholders, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Continuously iterate and optimise campaign strategies based on performance analysis, market dynamics, and customer feedback.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy and / or campaign management. 
  • Proven experience as a Campaigns Manager or in a similar marketing role with a track record of successful campaign planning and execution.
  • Excellent writing skills with an ability to write powerful marketing copy.
  • Proven experience with various marketing channels and platforms, including digital advertising, social media, email and WhatsApp marketing.
  • Knowledge of the main market and experience marketing to Township audiences.
  • Experience in SMB marketing and telecoms is a plus.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualise innovative content and campaign ideas that resonate with the target audience.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of branding and UI/UX principles to drive campaign success.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in campaign performance metrics and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving campaign objectives and driving business growth.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of paid media marketing is a plus.
