What we are looking for

Energetic, experienced and passionate sales leaders to represent the company’s brand in dedicated communities, deliver exceptional customer service, manage a team of sales representatives and achieve sales targets.

About the role

The Area Leaders reports to the Area Manager and manages a  team of direct reports consisting of sales representatives.  This is a junior leadership role that actively drives the sales and marketing strategies of TooMuchWifi, participates in community engagement efforts, and drives brand awareness and focuses on customer wants, needs and communication preferences (customer-centric).

What you will be doing

  • Drive the creation and qualification of leads as well as closing of sales.
  • Monitor and maintain the customer portfolios at both customer and community levels.
  • Monitor the team’s performance by evaluating the entire customer journey to ensure service excellence is maintained and that sales representatives are proactive in attending to customer expectations and needs;
  • Maintain and grow customer retention and satisfaction levels.
  • Identify and report new network coverage areas to grow our customer base.
  • Notify Management of bad network coverage to improve our customer experience.
  • Drive revenue growth to achieve or exceed relevant targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify branding and marketing opportunities that can contribute to the growth.
  • Execute marketing and sales efforts or campaigns with the sales representatives as requested by the Area Manager.
  • Attend community engagements when requested.
  • Prepare for and attend activation efforts within communities.
  • Effectively communicate with sales representatives and ensure the team clearly understands their roles and responsibilities. 
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews with each team member.
  • Ensure all sales representative’s KPIs are clearly communicated, implemented, and monitored on a weekly basis.
  • Adhere to the company’s policies, standards and procedures.

Minimum requirements (qualifications, skills and experience, other)

  • Matric.
  • Relevant college or university degree is an advantage but not required.
  • Team leadership and/or supervisory experience.
  • Sales management, account management, relationship management, business development, and/or customer service management experience.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Executing plans.
  • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence.
  • Customer centricity.
  • Good communicator.
  • Target driven.
  • Good understanding of and/or previous experience in marketing.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Must live in a community represented.
