B737 Flight Safety Officer 2024 (Internal position)

Dear B737 Pilots, Safety department is looking for an addition to their team in the role of B737 Flight Safety Officer.

• High sense of confidentiality.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Good knowledge and experience with MS Office.

• Has authority to make decisions that affect the safety and/or security of aircraft operations.

• Be responsible for accident prevention and flight safety.

• Be responsible for the assessment of high risk issues assigned by the Safety Manager or the Flight Safety Analyst.

• Review and investigate accident, incident and hazard reports as assigned by the Safety Manager or the Flight Safety Analyst.

• Ensure that during the safety occurrence investigations, the involved flight crew members are inquired about their fatigue and FMT score is analysed accordingly.

• Act as the communication link between the pilot community and the Safety department.

• Request retrospective reports from crew members.

• Attend monthly Safety Action Group meetings and audits as per necessity.

• Instruct in recurrent ground school training (if necessary).

• Responsible for the identification and assessment of issues from Flight Data Analysis.
