WHAT WILL YOU DO

As a Logistics Specialist focused on daily shipments, your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Check on correctness of inbound and outbound delivery data, investigating and solving possible issues;
  • Support for the subcontracting of logistics services in the country of destination including airport operations, customs, and final deliveries to maintenance bases;
  • Assist in making and analysing reports and controls;
  • Organize transports between different points of shipments and being a contact point for the forwarding agents;
  • Track and trace shipments from pickup through POD;
  • Handle overages, shortages, and damages;
  • Process and resolve claims filed by customers;
  • You will be responsible to solicit and quote domestic and abroad shipping services. This will include airload, truckload, and dedicated transportation if necessary;
  • Provide internal and external customers with proper shipping documents, including shipper letter of instructions, bill of lading, and labels, etc.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • You should have at least 2 years of proven experience in Logistics/Supply Chain and familiar with military supply system;
  • You should be a university graduate or started higher education (a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related technical area required);
  • Good planning skills that go along with proper time management and flexibility;
  • Knowledge of government contracts and global regulations;
  • You should be a mature and stress-resistant person with good communication and negotiation skills;
  • Good MS Office skills are essential for this role;
  • You should have excellent English (both: written and spoken);
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Demeanor to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines;
  • Ability to work within rigid timelines and budgets;
  • Ability to see a broader picture of how your performance affects the business and make informed decisions.
