YOUR ROLE

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Lead Information System implementation projects.
  • Analyse and support Information Systems on the application level by conducting regular checks;
  • Perform configuration and parametrization of software applications;
  • Troubleshoot software application issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet business and user requirements;
  • Provide instructions, training, and assistance to business users in the effective use of software applications and information technology;
  • Liaise with software suppliers to fulfill the requirements of the organization;
  • Facilitate application release planning, including release note management and coordination between vendor, IT, and business team
  • Assist with system UAT (User Acceptance Test) testing processes;
  • Maintain end-user documentation for applications and relevant documentation for the IT team including diagramming data flows;
  • Assist end-users with reports, and ad-hoc reports from the application;
  • Monitor application for compliance with IT standards and policies;
  • Manage communication with support teams in both vendor and IT service desks;
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, end-user group meetings, etc.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

We expect you to have IT experience in the field of application configuration and 1-3 years of work experience in Information Technology or related.


Your key skills and competencies should be:

  • Good presentation skills;
  • Sound communication and business writing skills;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Practical training skills in Business Support Systems.


Key qualities and attributes should be:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance;
  • Good coaching and persuasion skills;
  • Ability to listen and understand areas of strength and weakness;
  • You should be initiative, proactive, and supportive.
