Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Govern engineering teams’ implementation of software requirements in accordance to the agreed design and architecture. 
  • Set strategic goals and objectives for teams in the engineering department tribe in alignment with the company’s overall strategic vision.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop top talent within the engineering tribe.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to other software engineering leaders and individual contributors to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor team performance and project progress in a tribe and take proactive measures to address any issues or risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and innovation within a tribe.


Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering discipline
  • Proven experience (4 years) in a technical leadership role within a high-growth software company
  • Strong technical background expertise in software development.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of, and working experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Angular
  • Understanding or working experience with NestJs and IONIC framework is a major plus
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in any of the following is a plus, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master, OpenJS Node.js Application Developer (JSNAD), OpenJS Node.js Services Developer (JSNSD), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
