As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking Junior Legal Counsel who will work within the legal team at Tonybet, assisting the team in administrative and legal matters as they arise.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements relating to commercial endeavors including marketing and advertising; payment services; data protection; corporate and intra-group arrangements and game supplier agreements and other suppliers.
  • Drafting and reviewing simple legal documents including resolutions, letters, POAs.
  • Research and remain abreast of developments in multi-national regulatory online gambling regimes.
  • Assisting with the application and management of gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Handle due diligence process in accordance with applicable laws and regulations;
  • Assist in case management by organizing and maintaining legal files, agreements, calendars, and deadlines.
  • Assisting in handling various litigious and non- litigious matters, including coordination with various external law firms as and when required;
  • Assist with changes to the corporate structure and other corporate matters and affairs.
  • Various other responsibilities within their area of competence as the company may from time to time require.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law.
  • Fluency in Latvian and English (any other languages will be considered as an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and possessing a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • High degree of confidentiality.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and take pride in being quality-oriented with a keen eye for detail and coming up with creative solutions.
  • You are approachable and an effective communicator across all levels of the business and influence key internal and external stakeholders, and provide expert advice to support the strategic agenda.
  • You are down-to-earth and a lifelong learner.
  • You are able to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.

  • Gross salary range 1500.00-1900.00 EUR Gross.
