WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

  • Prepare monthly financial and managements reports on country level and for management and investors
  • Consolidate financial and management accounts reporting for the Hong Kong region in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with local regulatory and the Group requirements
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting to support business growth. Prepare budgets versus actuals analysis  
  • Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL entries, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, prepare reconciliations, month-end closing, consolidation and tax filing.
  • Prepare cashflow projections, monitor cashflow, optimize working capital and manage liquidity.
  • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodies.
  • Partner with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management and control.
  • Oversee the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of monthly Property Performance Reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial and management reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-function teams to align financial goals
  • Review and optimize license agreements from finance perspective
  • Arrange rental payment with recharge items
  • Manage the Hong Kong finance team consisting of local and remote staff
  • Assist in streamlining processes and reviewing existing workflow
  • Implement financial systems and automation tools to enhance efficiency
  • Provide support in setting up new projects and handling ad hoc requests from management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related disciplines
  • Professional qualification of recognized accounting bodies
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in financial & management reporting, with 2 years at the supervisory level
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Sun Accounting, Xero, Quickbooks, or other accounting software is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and processes and improve financial operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with good written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Experience in the hospitality/real estate industry & managing a remote team is an advantage
