Assistant Accountant

Description

  • Payment processing - Arrange accurate and timely payment via various means and cheque deposit. Set up regular payment on e-banking and maintain a good track record for payment. Experience in processing e-banking is highly preferred
  • Financial reporting - Handle full set of accounts and related financial accounting duties. Prepare schedules for balance sheet and P&L accounts, contributing to a comprehensive month-end closing process
  • Facilitate audits and compliance - Maintain a good filing system for all kinds of company documents for annual audits and tax related matters, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Collaboration - Communicate and cooperate with the extended overseas Finance team to ensure seamless operations across borders
  • Diverse responsibilities - Assist the supervisor in all rounded accounting related and ad-hoc assignments, expanding your skill set and value to the Finance team

Requirements

  • Associate degree or above in Finance & Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience preferably in hotel business
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel ( e.g. Vlookup and Pivot Table), experience with Xero accounting system is an advantage
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, mature individual with a willingness to learn and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Good command of written and spoken English to facilitate effective communication across the organization
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
