We are currently seeking an Investment Associate  Real Estate Acquisitions Team to further expand our growing Japan asset supply portfolio. Working closely with our seasoned HQ acquisition team based in Hong Kong, the ideal candidate should be an experienced individual with a strong proven track record on multifamily residential transactions and acquisitions. Furthermore, the candidate will be responsible for identifying possible management agreements and/or master lease opportunities. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and developing meaningful relationships with existing and new business partners. Now is the time to evangelize, introduce, and promote the Co-Living concept in Japan!


What You'll Do



  • Feasibility studies of living sector acquisition opportunities such as multi-family residential and hotels across the Japan market.
  • Create and revise financial models for underwriting and asset management purposes.
  • Support and liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding the transaction structures and completion.
  • Follow up and ensure a smooth handover to the property management and operation team during and after transaction completion.
  • Building of case studies for existing assets to support fundraising efforts.


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years' transaction experience in real estate from either Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Advisory firms.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and proficiency in G-Suites/ MS Office.
  • Presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong interests in the Japan real estate market.
  • Japanese in the native level, English at the business level (spoken and written).
  • Emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management and attention to details.
  • Good team player. 
  • Japanese Real Estate License holder. (preferred but not necessary)
  • Experience working in an early startup environment. (preferred but not necessary)
