We are looking for a Financial Analyst who would help build a global Finance function. The person will report to and work in close cooperation with the Group CFO. The role is based in Riga. Hybrid working is possible.


Responsibilities

  • Work together with Group and Country managers to design reports to support strategic and daily decision making (KPIs and related vocabularies, budgets, forecasts, UE, CLTV).
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for entities, countries, products, sales channels, and report on actual vs. budget performance.
  • Prepare business cases for new markets, products, payment methods, customer acquisition channels etc.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help building a reporting infrastructure that supports various financial and managerial needs.
  • Review commercial clauses in vendor contracts relating to the core costs.
  • Ad-hoc reporting to group management, country managers and other key decision makers.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in FPA role, external audit or finance control in an international environment. FPA background will be considered as an advantage.
  • A university degree in Finance/ Accounting / Business administration fields.
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles is preferable.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel. Good working experience with BI tools and/or knowledge of SQL is preferable.
  • Self-driven, resilient, able to quickly adapt and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships in multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), knowledge of Latvian and Russian languages will be helpful, but not required.
