Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Go / PHP) with JavaScript experience to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain backend services, expand our use of Golang, improve distributed systems architecture, and contribute to the reliability and scalability of our technology solutions.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang and PHP (Symfony), with a focus on expanding the use of Go.
• Work with microservices architecture and synchronous and asynchronous communication.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, Kafka, gRPC, and Protobuf.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis, optimize SQL queries, and improve application performance.
• Work with Kubernetes, contributing to the development and maintenance of microservices infrastructure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve build, testing, and deployment automation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production services, analyze metrics, and improve system observability using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Develop and maintain internal admin interfaces using JavaScript and React, accounting for no more than 5% of the workload.
• Participate in architectural design, technical discussions, and engineering decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, introduce effective technical solutions, and contribute to the evolution of the team's technology stack.

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong Golang skills and hands-on experience developing and maintaining production services.
• Solid knowledge of PHP and Symfony, including experience maintaining and improving existing applications.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and asynchronous message processing.
• Experience with Kubernetes, including containerization, deployment, and service operations.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience working with build and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana, including monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting production services.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and practical experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
• Solid SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including indexes, transactions, and query optimization.
• Basic practical knowledge of JavaScript and React sufficient to develop and maintain internal admin interfaces.
• Ability to independently manage tasks from requirements analysis and solution design through implementation and deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to code quality, initiative, and a high degree of ownership.
• Ability to work autonomously, make informed technical decisions, and drive initiatives to completion without constant supervision.
