About the role

We’re looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) professional to lead the design and delivery of training programs that help our people grow and succeed. In this role, you’ll create engaging learning experiences, from onboarding to ongoing skills development, and support career growth through clear development pathways. You’ll also use digital tools and systems to bring learning to life while working closely with leaders and teams across the business. If you're passionate about building a strong learning culture and making a meaningful impact, this role is for you.

What will you be doing

Learning and Training

  • Develop training content and programs that cover technical skills, compliance, and soft skills from junior to senior levels.
  • Set up and run a learning academy to help employees grow in their roles.
  • Support a smooth and engaging new employee onboarding process and ongoing learning for all employees.
  • Develop role-based skill frameworks to guide training and performance.
  • Use creative training methods and digital tools to make learning more fun, rewarding, and effective, i.e., gamification and skills badges.
  • Regularly check what training is needed and create programs to fill those gaps.
  • Measure the success of training through feedback, tests, and work performance.

Using Technology in Learning

  • Develop, implement, and manage learning systems (like LMS), online tools, and digital learning features such as videos, games, and AI tools.
  • Keep up with new tech in learning and bring in useful tools when needed.
  • Design digital courses, videos, and interactive training content to support learning anytime, anywhere.

Career Development and Pathing

  • Work with line managers to create clear growth paths for different roles in the company.
  • Build programs to grow future leaders and support employees with potential to move into new roles or skill sets.

Teamwork and Learning Culture

  • Work closely with teams like risk and compliance, HR, operations, and leadership to make sure training supports business goals and legal needs.
  • Encourage a workplace culture where learning and development are seen as important by everyone.
  • Develop, lead and manage the learning and development department.

Tracking and Improving Training

  • Set clear goals to measure how effective training is.
  • Do regular checks to ensure training is up to standard and meets business needs.
  • Use data to see how training improves performance and adjust as needed.
  • Prepare monthly reports to present learning and development progress, including meaningful and tangible impact achieved.

What You’ll Need

  • A degree in HR, Education, Business, or similar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, especially in the technology or internet services industries.
  • Experience in creating and running training programs.
  • Knowledge of compliance-related training requirements.
  • Confidence with digital learning systems and tools.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • L&D certifications or recognized coaching qualifications are a bonus.
