ROLE DESCRIPTION


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to oversee the sales revenue of our Japan portfolio of Serviced apartments, hotels and coliving properties. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective direct sales team leadership, channel management, revenue management strategies to meet sales targets. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing a team of local and remote sales executives, and ensuring the successful forecasting and attainment of revenue, occupancy, and room nights targets.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Achieve the core commercial metrics GBV, GMV, Room Night, Occupancy, ADR for the Japan market
  • Develop sales and marketing action plans to exceed monthly sales targets across various market segments
  • Lead and motivate a team of local and remote sales executives and the reservations team to achieve monthly sales targets
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to the sales team to maximize their performance
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to enhance individual and team performance
  • Analyse and report on sales performance metrics, channels segmentation, guest demographics and market trends regularly to senior management
  • Manage Sales & Marketing P&L - Sales, Marketing, Reservations
  • Develop and work with Marketing Teams to elevate the brand and paid marketing channels to maximise sales conversion
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer service and supporting functions to ensure high customer satisfaction scores
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required by your direct manager


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A sales hustler!
  • A minimum of 6 years of working experience in sales, and at least 3 years managing a high-performing sales team
  • Experience in the residential real estate, OTA or hotel industry is a plus
  • A team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Competitive and enjoy working on different challenges
  • People-oriented, self-driven, and ambitious
  • Exceptional sales, customer service and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese is required, Mandarin and other foreign languages are a strong plus
  • Proficiency in G Suite/ Slack/PMS/RMS  and other cloud platforms
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Sales Manager
