Finance and Accounting Japan

• Manage and streamline AR, AP and reporting process flow for Japan local operations and / or via remote teams
• Assimilate the Group standard processes to local invoicing, finance and collections and identify the best practice
• Liaise with Asset Managers, Accountants and Owners to build a robust, scalable reporting framework
• Liaise with Tax Advisors, Government Authorities and Auditors (Japanese GAAP, IFRS) to optimize tax position and fulfill periodic reporting requirements
• Assist Japan local team as a business partner to facilitate business growth
• Manage cash flow reports, management reports and budget tracking reports
• Fulfill reporting requirements for various stakeholders including investor and lender and internal management team
• Manage a team of junior finance staffs and report to Japan general manager

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related disciplines
• Professional qualification of recognized accounting bodies
• Strong understanding of Japan tax and accounting regulations
• Proficiency in Excel / Google sheet is a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in written and verbal English (TOEIC 750+) and Japanese (N2 Level Minimum, N1 Level Preferred).
• Nissho Boki Certification desired (Japanese Accounting Certification, any level)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial & management reporting with 3 years in a managerial capacity
• Well-organized with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle multi-tasks
• Mature, independent, able to communicate and interact with people at all levels
