What we are looking for

We are in search of a vibrant, admin orientated, and well organised to join our Marketing team in the role of Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of Cape Town Townships and demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.



About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the implementation of marketing strategies at the local level. Your primary focus will be to coordinate marketing activities, events, and campaigns in specific geographical areas. This role requires a combination of organisational, communication, and project management skills to ensure the successful execution of field marketing initiatives. This role will report into the Marketing Manager.



What you will be doing

  • Coordinate Field Marketing Operations
  • Local Campaign Execution
  • Event Coordination
  • Branding coordination
  • Understand the Company’s product offering and pricing to accurately present and communicate to potential customers.
  • Brand Representation
  • Collaboration with Activations Sales Representatives
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) 
  • Promotional Material Distribution


Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Matric.
  • Basic work experience and/or student/graduate.
  • Previous experience in marketing, event coordination, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with local market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of branding principles and marketing trends.
  • Must live or have lived in a local community (township) covered by TooMuchWifi.
  • Self-starter with a strong will to succeed.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communicator, good people skills.
  • Proficient in at least two official South African languages.
  • Basic computer skills or able to perform simple tasks on the Company’s sales reporting system.
  • Must own a working cell phone.
  • Be flexible and able to work in all areas.
