Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create visually compelling designs across multiple platforms. The role will involve frequent tasks such as designing promotional materials, editing photos, and creating graphics for social media and websites. Additionally, there will be occasional tasks that include logo design, catalogue creation, and other ad hoc design requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Frequently:
- Design and create training factsheets and literature
- Conduct product photography and edit images for use in marketing materials
- Create and edit graphics for social media platforms
- Design website banners and graphics
- Develop product packaging designs
- Design company signage and exhibition banners
- Create thumbnails for videos and blog cover images
- Design promotional flyers and posters for print
- Edit PDF documents and website pages
- Design graphics for email campaigns
Occasionally:
- Design logos and create icons
- Develop product catalogues
- Create print adverts for newspapers and magazines
- Design proposals and documentation
- Handle various ad hoc design requests from different departments within the business
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Experience with photography and photo editing is a plus
- Knowledge of web design principles and HTML/CSS is an advantage
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred, but not required with equivalent work
