We require several Account Managers/Sales Executives to work in our offices in Thornaby.
Working in a busy but fun office environment you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Sales Engineers in dealing with incoming sales enquiries and processing purchase orders.
Your role will include:
· Answering wholesalers, resellers and end users customer sales calls and queries regarding our range of technical products such as electrical, electronic, pressure and temperature.
· Creating and following up on quotations and sales orders
· Corresponding with customer enquiries via emails and over the phone
· Advising on stock availability with the purchasing department
· Processing credit card transactions
· Building customer relationships and increasing sales
· Liaising with the Customer Service team regarding order queries
· Liaising with the warehouse, calibration and other departments within the Company
We are ideally looking for people that have:
· A great sense of humour and attitude
· Previous experience of working in a sales environment dealing with quotations, orders and invoices;
· Experienced in dealing with customers over the phone and via email;
· Experience of working within Microsoft Office;
· Great IT and Math Skills;
· A great customer service attitude and thrives on providing great customer
service;
· Adaptability with a keen eye for detail;
· Technical sales skills such as electrical, electronic or industrial would be a distinct advantage.
Note that this is an office based full-time position
Location: Thornaby
Salary: £20,000 +bonus
Hours: Mon - Fri / 37.5 hours
Holiday Entitlement: 22 days increasing to 25
