Description
We require a booking in technician to work in our busy calibration department in Welwyn Garden CIty.
Working in the gas calibration department you’ll be responsible for booking in gas instrumentation.
If you know the difference between a gas detector and a torque wrench or a pressure gauge from a thermometer or a multimeter then this may be the role for you.
Ideally with previous experience of working in an industrial environment or service department or similar role you will be responsible for the following:
- unboxing daily instruments received from customers
- removing and keeping all associated paperwork
- photographing the instrument
- categorising the type of instrument
- booking the instrument to the correct customer account
- liaising with the Calibration Admin team regarding queries.
- cleaning instruments
Requirements:
- You will need a great teamwork ethos
- The ability to be pro-active
- Have an eye for detail, as you will need to be accurate in everything that you do.
- You will also need to know your way around a PC.
If you are the right candidate you may later progress to become a calibration technician.
Role Type: Full time
Working Hours: 39 Hrs per week Monday to Friday
8.30am to 5.30pm Mon to Thu and 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday
