DEVSECOPS ENGINEER (SENIOR) (D101)

This position requires on-site work from one of our offices in Riga, Budva or Barcelona.

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team as a DevSecOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the DevSecOps framework for our industry-leading B2B betting platform, leveraging cutting-edge and the most efficient security technologies.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at our offices in Riga, Budva or Barcelona.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Strong expertise in the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and web application security.
• In-depth understanding of modern threats and advanced threat modelling techniques.
• Extensive hands-on experience with integrating at least three different security tools within CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in creating automation tools using any programming language, such as Python, Java, Bash or PowerShell.
• Proficiency in securing cloud-native applications using well-established methodologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes security practices and mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in English at an intermediate level or higher.

WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE

• Professional certifications in Information Security, such as CKA, CKS, CDP, or equivalents.
• Practical experience in secure coding or close collaboration with security champions.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security tools and practices.

• Define and continuously refine security solutions and best practices within the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Perform service-level threat modelling to anticipate and mitigate potential security risks.
• Ensure the security of DevOps tools and processes, including Source Control, Containerization, Continuous Integration, and Change Management.
• Manage, prioritise and partially implement the backlog of CI/CD pipeline hardening tasks and security checks integration in close collaboration with Infrastructure and DevOps teams.
• Identify, assess, and prioritise vulnerabilities in the product, development processes and tools used throughout the CI/CD lifecycle including performing security assessments and using automated scanning tools to detect weaknesses. Developing, managing and implementing remediation plans to fix identified vulnerabilities, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
• Implement robust access control mechanisms to regulate access to critical information resources.
• Conduct regular security audits and enhance practices related to secret management, vulnerability management, network segmentation, system hardening, integrity control, incident monitoring, and response in cloud and containerized environments.
• Provide security training to team members, raising awareness of potential threats and promoting secure architecture and coding practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and security tools to select the most effective solutions for our environment.
