At BETBY, our team is responsible for building, managing and maintaining secure, robust and scalable infrastructure to run our prod & beta/test/dev environments and core services using DevOps principles.

This includes provisioning, configuring, and monitoring servers for on-premise Proxmox and Kubernetes clusters, databases and networking components, as well as managing cloud infrastructure hosted within AWS.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with administering Linux systems
• Experience with Debian-based systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, VirtualBox and etc.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes/Swarm
• Proficiency in shell command line usage, scripting, and automation tools like Ansible
• Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls and the ability to configure and troubleshoot network settings
• Experience with administering web servers (nginx), databases, message brokers, logging and monitoring tools, backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Certifications would be a plus (RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC)

• Setting up, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers (both hardware and virtual), including installation of operating systems, software, and patches
• Supporting production and beta/test/dev environments and core services
• Implementing security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
• Setting up monitoring tools and alerts to detect and respond to system issues;
• Monitoring of applications and infrastructure components metrics and logs, troubleshooting issues and improving the stability and performance of Linux systems for heavy loads
• Evaluating new technologies, their implementation in existing infrastructure;
• Managing advanced on-premise infrastructure (Proxmox/Kubernetes/Swarm Clusters)
• Ensuring performance of DBs and MQs (MongoDB, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Automating configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, bash/python)
• Maintaining and writing documentation of the infrastructure setup, configurations, and operational procedures
