This position requires on-site work from one of our offices in Riga, Budva, or Barcelona.
We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Project Manager to join our Information Security team. In this role, you will establish and manage internal project and service management frameworks, oversee task and resource management, coordinate stakeholder communications, and supervise supplier activities. A core responsibility includes driving internal educational initiatives such as tabletop exercises and role-based social training to strengthen the company's security awareness program. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, versatile environments, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational capabilities within a startup-oriented culture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience implementing and managing projects and/or service management frameworks in Information Security teams.
- Strong expertise in task management and resource planning, with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with stakeholder management, including facilitating clear communication and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships: monitor activities, track deliverables, and ensure performance adheres to contractual agreements.
- Knowledge and experience in delivering internal educational programs (e.g., tabletop exercises, behavioral and social training).
- Solid understanding of project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, or equivalents) and familiarity with reporting mechanisms for tracking progress and risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Information Security principles and organizational best practices is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Security, Business, or a related field.
WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL.
- Practical knowledge of security awareness initiatives, including program design and delivery.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
- A proven track record of delivering complex projects in dynamic environments.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Information Security.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at our offices in Riga, Budva, or Barcelona.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish project and service management practices: Design and implement robust frameworks for managing the Information Security team’s projects and ongoing services, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Task and resource management: Oversee daily task management, resource allocation, and capacity planning to optimize team performance and ensure timely project delivery.
- Stakeholder management: Act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating regular updates, aligning expectations, and resolving challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Supplier management: Supervise suppliers’ activities, track milestones and deliverables, evaluate performance, and ensure adherence to contractual agreements and project goals.
- Drive the security awareness program: Organize and lead internal educational events such as role modeling sessions, tabletop exercises, and social training workshops to enhance the organization’s security culture.
- Track and report on project progress: Develop and deliver regular project reports, providing clear visibility into timelines, risks, resource utilization, and outcomes for leadership and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with the Information Security leadership team and other departments to identify priorities, streamline workflows, and integrate project deliverables seamlessly into broader organizational initiatives.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and ensure the Information Security team meets organizational goals with agility and precision.
