Senior Platform Engineer (Databases & Middleware)

We are a fast-growing series A scale-up company seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join us as the Senior Platform Engineer. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing our technical infrastructure to support our rapid growth trajectory. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in building, scaling and ensuring the performance, resiliency, observability and security of our Databases and Middleware infrastructure field.

• Be a key person for technology-related support and guidance in databases and middleware domain;
• Cooperate closely with other engineers and managers to provide supported services in a timely and qualitative manner;
• Design, build, scale and maintain Ovoko infrastructure;
• Constantly seek to automate things and reduce unnecessary complexities in the platform.

• Proven 7+ years of experience in the infrastructure field;
• Advanced skills in Linux;
• Proficiency with relational databases MySQL and/or MariaDB;
• Knowledge of distributed storage solutions like Kafka, Redis, Ceph;
• Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, PMM;
• Experience with search engines like Elasticsearch would be a significant benefit;
• Good communication skills;
• Fluency in English.

The offered salary range for this position starts from 6000€ (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
