About the role

Joining as the Financial Operations Manager, you'll be stepping into a new role within our organization on the recently formed Shipping Optimization team. With hundreds of thousands of packages shipped monthly, our goal is to ensure efficient delivery across Europe at the lowest feasible cost. We are looking for a person who is eager to roll up their sleeves and deep dive into the numbers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a strong individual contributor but also aspires to become a leader. In this role, you will

  • Be directly responsible for managing and proactively optimizing all shipping costs.
  • Collaborate closely with shipping providers and our data team to streamline and automate the invoicing process ensuring the highest level of data accuracy.
  • Independently lead projects contributing to shipping KPIs and company’s OKRs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date masterfile with delivery pricing from all our shipping providers.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to identify potential issues with shipping of specific product categories.


What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, business analysis, or related fields
  • Passion in working with numbers and a strong affinity for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and a proactive can-do attitude.
  • Prior experience in logistics and cost optimization roles is highly valued.
  • A business-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving results and achieving objectives.
  • Collaborative by nature, thriving in team environments and adept at building strong working relationships.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, enabling effective communication across teams, partners and stakeholders.

Salary

The offered salary range for this position is 2800 - 4200 € (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
