Product Design Manager

As a Product Design Manager at Ovoko, you'll be the driving force behind our user-centric design philosophy. You'll lead and train your team in user-centric product discovery and design, shaping our product vision and establishing robust processes that prioritize user needs, foster collaboration, and elevate design craft across the Supply value stream.

In this role, you'll spearhead product discovery initiatives, guiding your team through user research, workshops, and design iterations to deeply understand user needs and translate them into exceptional user experiences.

• Lead and oversee the user experience of a product, from conception to launch, in partnership with various stakeholders from the product team;
• Conduct user research and lead product discovery initiatives to deeply understand user needs and pain points;
• Partner with product managers and engineers to translate user insights into actionable design strategies;
• Establish and maintain a user-centered design process within the team, fostering collaboration and innovation;
• Lead a team of talented designers, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering) to ensure a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints;
• Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices, continuously improving Ovoko's design language and user experience.

• Have extensive experience working within the product design field;
• Prior experience in leading a product direction and strategy;
• Have experience leading and mentoring design teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Possess a strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies (e.g., user research, user testing, product discovery, etc).
• Experience working with SaaS or e-commerce products would be an advantage;
• Strong communication skills;
• Fluent English language skills.

The offered salary range for this position starts from 4400 € (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
