Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Business Performance

● Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial guidance to support business strategy and growth.

● Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and scenario analysis.

● Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.

● Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, and key business drivers, providing actionable insights to leadership.

● Support pricing decisions, investment analysis, and business case development.


Financial Management & Governance

● Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, and management reporting.

● Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and governance across the organization.

● Lead external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting activities. ● Ensure adherence to IFRS and other applicable financial standards.

● Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency within the finance function.


Treasury & Risk Management

● Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and treasury operations.

● Maintain banking and investor relationships.

● Oversee funding requirements, debt management, and capital allocation.

● Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. 


Leadership & Stakeholder Management

● Build and lead a high-performing finance team.

● Coach, mentor, and develop finance professionals.

● Partner with business leaders to improve financial and operational performance.

● Provide financial updates and recommendations to the Executive Team and Board.

Requirements

● 10–15 years of progressive finance experience.

● Minimum of 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.

● Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

● MBA or Master's Degree is an advantage.

● Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CIMA, or CFA.

● Strong experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, financial reporting, and business partnering.

● Experience presenting financial performance and recommendations to executive leadership and boards.

● Telecommunications, Technology, FinTech, or Digital Infrastructure experience is an advantage.
