Position Title and Summary

Junior Consultant: 

A Junior Consultant supports project teams by gathering and analysing data, conducting research, and preparing documentation to inform client strategies. They contribute to project deliverables, shadow senior consultants, and assist with applying enterprise architecture and process methodologies. Junior Consultants are assigned roles based on client and organisational needs, providing flexibility for career growth.

Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct structured research and analysis to support client projects. 
  • Assist in developing process models, capability maps, organisational diagrams, and other deliverables. 
  • Prepare client-facing and internal documentation, including reports and presentations. 
  • Participate in workshops and meetings to contribute insights and ideas. 
  • Learn and apply foundational enterprise architecture and business analysis frameworks and tools. 
  • Deliver internal projects, including business development and process improvement initiatives. 


Reporting Structure

Reports To: Senior Consultant or Project Manager 

Direct Reports: None 

Team Structure: Part of project teams consisting of consultants, analysts, and other specialists.

Role-Specific Competencies 

Technical Skills: 

  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and process methodologies (e.g. ArchiMate, BPMN). 
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and process tools (e.g. ADOIT, ADONIS). 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook 

 Soft Skills: 

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and frameworks. 
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.  

Personality Traits: 

  • Eager to learn and take initiative. 
  • Resilient and open to feedback. 


Education and Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Role-Specific Qualifications: Any introductory certifications in enterprise architecture, business analysis, or process management are a plus. 


Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 0-2 years in consulting or a related field. 

Role-Specific Experience: Knowledge of structured methodologies and analysis. 

Tools, Systems, and Programmes

Familiarity with modelling and diagramming tools will be beneficial.

Training and Development

General Training: Exposure to Knotion Consulting’s methodologies and tools. 

Role-Specific Training: Training in foundational frameworks and notation such as BPMN and ArchiMate, as well as tool-specific onboarding.

Special Requirements

Travel may be required based on client projects.

Working Conditions

Work Environment: Primarily remote or office-based, with occasional on-site client work. 

Hours of Work: Standard business hours with flexibility for project needs. 


Salary

Market-competitive salary, negotiable based on experience.
