Position Title and Summary

Sales Consultant: 

The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the ICT sector. They leverage their knowledge of enterprise architecture, business analysis, and process management tools and services to provide tailored solutions to clients. The role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a background in IT, technology, or software sales.

Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the ICT sector. 
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term engagement. 
  • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations of enterprise architecture and process management solutions. 
  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions to address their business challenges. 
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. 
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. 
  • Collaborate with technical and consulting teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions. 

Reporting Structure

Reports To: Executive Leadership 

Direct Reports: None 

Team Structure: Works closely with the marketing, and consulting teams.

Education and Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.

Role-Specific Qualifications: Sales certifications (e.g., SaaS Sales, ITIL, or equivalent) are advantageous. 


Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 5-7 years in sales within the IT, technology, or software space. 

Role-Specific Experience: A background in IT or enterprise architecture is beneficial. 

Tools, Systems, and Programmes

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent). 
  • Familiarity with sales tracking and reporting tools. 
  • Understanding of IT and software sales lifecycle. 


Training and Development

General Training: Exposure to Knotion Consulting’s financial policies and systems.

Role-Specific Training: Sales methodologies, product knowledge, and negotiation skills development. 


Performance Metrics and KPIs
