Position Title and Summary

Executive Consultant: 

An Executive Consultant is a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping transformative strategies and driving systemic change through enterprise architecture solutions. They are instrumental in identifying new growth opportunities and fostering organisational resilience.

Key Responsibilities


  • Partner with C-suite stakeholders to design long-term enterprise architecture strategies. 
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of organisational capabilities and needs. 
  • Develop and oversee strategic initiatives, including governance structures and transformation roadmaps. 
  • Provide expert insights on industry trends and emerging technologies to guide decision-making. 
  • Drive Knotion’s thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, and mentoring. 
  • Deliver internal projects, including business development and process improvement initiatives. 


Reporting Structure

Reports To: Executive Leadership or Managing Partner. 

Direct Reports: Principal Consultants and Lead Consultants. 

Team Structure: Works collaboratively with senior executives, business leaders, and consulting teams to implement enterprise-wide strategies.

  • Experience in leading large-scale transformation programmes. 
  • Proficiency with modelling tools (e.g., ADOIT, ADONIS). 

 Soft Skills: 

  • Strong leadership and executive presence. 
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing systemic challenges. 
  • Ability to navigate complex business landscapes with diplomacy and foresight.

Education and Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Role-Specific Qualifications: Certifications in enterprise architecture, process management and other IT fields and strategic leadership are highly desirable.


Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 10+ years consulting background with a strong focus on executive-level engagements and large-scale transformations. 

Role-Specific Experience:Proven track record in advising C-suite executives on enterprise strategy and governance. 

Tools, Systems, and Programmes

  • Advanced proficiency with modelling and diagramming tools. 
  • Experience with project management and governance frameworks.


Training and Development

General Training: Exposure to Knotion Consulting’s methodologies and tools. 

Role-Specific Training: Advanced executive leadership training in enterprise strategy, transformation, and governance. 


Performance Metrics and KPIs

The balanced scorecard serves as the cornerstone of position-based performance management, providing a clear, measurable framework. It is established at the start of each year to outline key metrics and expectations for every role. 

 

Throughout the year, 360-degree feedback and 1-on-1 sessions are conducted to ensure a dynamic and adaptive approach to performance management. These touchpoints allow for regular updates based on individual progress, evolving interests, personal development needs, and the strategic direction of the company. This integrated approach not only supports the growth and success of our employees but also ensures alignment with organisational goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Special Requirements

Travel may be required based on client projects. 

Ability to work flexible hours if necessary to meet project deadlines.

Work Environment: Primarily remote or office-based, with occasional on-site client work.

Market-competitive salary, negotiable based on experience.
