Position Title and Summary

Intermediate Consultant: 

An Intermediate Consultant plays a pivotal role in executing client projects, bringing a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and the ability to manage workstreams independently. They develop project deliverables in collaboration with team members and clients, driving results through a combination of analytical expertise and practical implementation.

Key Responsibilities


  • Facilitate workshops to gather client requirements and business needs. 
  • Develop detailed artefacts, including process designs, value chains, capability assessments, and architecture and process models. 
  • Provide recommendations for optimising client operations and aligning with strategic goals. 
  • Assist in implementing governance structures and roadmaps for enterprise architecture initiatives. 
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. 
  • Deliver internal projects, including business development and process improvement initiatives. 


Reporting Structure

Reports To: Senior Consultant or Project Manager 

Direct Reports: Junior Consultants (mentorship capacity) 

Team Structure: Works collaboratively within project teams comprising senior consultants, analysts, and client stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.

  • Proficient in industry-related tools and methodologies such as ADOIT, ArchiMate, or equivalent platforms. 
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.  

Personality Traits:

Education and Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 

Role-Specific Qualifications: Certifications in enterprise architecture, process management and other IT fields are preferred.


Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2-5 years in consulting or a related field. 

Role-Specific Experience: Demonstrated expertise in structured methodologies and independent workstream management. 


Tools, Systems, and Programmes

Proficiency with modelling and diagramming tools. 

Training and Development

General Training: Exposure to Knotion Consulting’s methodologies and tools. 

Role-Specific Training: Advanced training in enterprise architecture, process, governance and other IT related frameworks and structures. 


Performance Metrics and KPIs

Special Requirements

Travel may be required based on client projects.

Market-competitive salary, negotiable based on experience.
