We are searching for three dedicated and dynamic SENIOR FINANCE CONTROLLERS to join our Southern Africa team, each based in their respective country - Namibia, Zambia, or Botswana. YOUR MISSION
To empower our local finance team to be more efficient and competent. Through dedicated liaisons, process enhancements, and overall team development, you'll play a pivotal role in our success.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial reports and data analysis
- Supervise the local accounting team and collaborate with external parties
- Manage local tax matters and ensure compliance
- Improve financial reporting and analysis processes
- Contribute to the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts
- Act as the primary point of contact between the group and the local market for finance-related questions
- Oversee banking operations, including authorizing payments and transactions
- Lead fund-raising and investment initiatives, including due diligence, contracting, and reporting
- Drive cost management efforts, including cost analysis and savings initiatives
- Establish and manage the procurement function, processes, and approvals
- Build a network with local and expat business leaders to gain valuable market insights
