As the Regional Managing Director at Eleving Consumer Finance, you will play a pivotal role driving the success of four Group Companies within the Southern Africa region – Namibia, Zambia, Botswana and Lesotho. Reporting directly to the Eleving Consumer Finance Group Board, your mission is to ensure the attainment of financial targets, KPIs, and to foster business development. Using a data-driven approach, you'll leverage financial analytics for strategic initiatives, overseeing and guiding CEOs to foster a culture of excellence.


YOUR MISSION


  • Take ownership of the Group Companies performance in the Southern Africa region, ensuring the realization of budgetary goals, KPIs, business development
  • Lead local CEOs to align business strategies with overall Group objectives by providing support and guidance on strategic, financial, operational, and business development matters
  • Lead strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the size of the loan portfolio and diversifying product offerings to meet evolving market demands
  • Lead data-driven decisions to maximize profitability, budgeting processes, resource allocation, and cost-effective decision-making
  • Report regularly to the Group Board on the development, achievements, and challenges faced by the Group Companies
  • Evaluate the performance of Group Companies management team based on financial targets and KPI
  • Ensure transparent and effective communication between the Group Companies and the Group Board
  • Represent the Group Companies in communication with external partners and institutions

QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role with strong background in business management, strategy, and financial evaluation
  • Experience in managing multiple subsidiaries in a regional or similar capacity is considered as advantage
  • Proven success in meeting financial targets and driving business growth
  • Proactive and ownership-driven personality with "getting things done" mindset
  • Exceptional leadership, motivation, and management acumen
  • Experience in the fintech industry is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, the global language of business
