SHORT DESCRIPTION

As Betby's Senior Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for major clients, serving as their trusted advisor for sportsbook platform matters. Your focus will be on driving the growth of client accounts through strategic management of promotions, legal and finance issues, and proactive guidance to ensure ongoing business success and compliance. This is a growth-focused role for candidates who thrive in B2B, fast-paced environments and want to make a significant impact on both client and company success.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Main Client Contact: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships, acting as clients’ primary liaison for operational, promotional, and commercial queries regarding the sportsbook platform.
  • Promotion Strategy: Collaborate with clients to define, launch, and optimize promotional campaigns that drive engagement and betting volume, leveraging Betby’s tools and product features.
  • Legal & Finance Collaboration: Coordinate with Betby’s Legal and Finance teams to resolve client issues, ensure contractual compliance, and support regulatory readiness for all campaigns and processes.
  • Proactive Account Growth: Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, monitor competitive developments, and recommend strategies for maximized client profitability and retention.
  • Client Advocacy: Represent client interests internally, ensuring all technical and non-technical needs are captured and prioritized for product development and support.
  • Performance Analysis: Use data to monitor sportsbook performance, evaluate promotional ROI, and present actionable insights to clients and Betby senior management.
  • Documentation & Process: Lead the creation and handover of detailed documentation to ensure clients have seamless onboarding and ongoing support. 
  • Issue Escalation: Handle escalations promptly and professionally, including high-severity incidents, and lead resolution efforts across multiple teams.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings—to deepen relationships and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Mentoring & Teamwork: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior account managers, supporting their development and strengthening team capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B account management within the online gaming or sportsbook sector
  • Proven expertise managing client promotions, financial contracts, and regulatory projects
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (English fluency required)
  • Strong analytical skills for performance reporting and opportunity identification
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts/projects in a demanding environment
  • High level of organization, documentation, and process orientation
  • Willingness to travel internationally, including industry events and client meetings
  • Proactive, client-focused mindset with a passion for growing accounts and tackling challenges
  • B2B account management experience is a big plus
  • Experience with international sportsbook platforms or gaming providers is a very big plus
  • Fluency in additional languages (especially Spanish, Portuguese) would be nice to have
