Description

Our marketing business partners (MBP’s) play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies for specific countries to drive business growth. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic data driven thinking, and a deep understanding of the local market dynamics. You will be able to clearly communicate ideas and strategies, both written and spoken and simultaneously demonstrate being accountable, taking ownership and maintaining a solution-focused mindset.

As senior members of the marketing team, you will be commercially focused, with a drive to achieve business goals and achieve key OKR’s.

A team player, MBP’s will leverage their stakeholder management skills to build positive relations with colleagues across different departments and at all levels of the organisation. Teamwork is critical to ensure alignment, particularly with local market colleagues and the sales team.

The MBP’s will work closely with central marketing colleagues to leverage data-driven insights and own marketing initiatives to achieve key performance indicators and drive the overall success of the organisation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the global marketing strategy and business objectives, to drive brand awareness and revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention
  • Lead and manage two veterinary education brands within the Spanish market, maximising the opportunities of their different positioning strategies, price points and go-to-market approaches
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audience segments, market trends, and competitor activities, using insights to inform marketing strategies. Speak regularly to customers at our courses, industry events and through other qualitative method
  • Effectively lead and manage other members of the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, ownership, accountability and being solution focused
  • Oversee and project manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, advertising, PR, events, and partnerships. Be responsible for creation of region-specific content
  • Adapt global campaigns and content to suit local market needs, aligning with brand and core business messages
  • Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance through HubSpot with a data-driven approach, utilizing key metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum impact
  • Share regular reports with the Marketing Director and Head of Marketing Operations to provide insight into performance of marketing activities, tracking against key KPIs set
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, driving lead generation, nurturing, and conversion
  • Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively and optimizing spend to achieve the desired return on investment
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, partners, and industry influencers
  • Stay updated on industry trends and benchmarks, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices, continually seeking opportunities for innovation and growth

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience, including proven success in lead generation and inbound marketing
  • Experience across the marketing mix with a focus on developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a country-specific context
  • Ability to prioritise based on commercial goals, ensuring efficiencies and effectiveness of marketing tactics
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and inspiring high-performing teams
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and marketing automation
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, ROI, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate marketing strategies to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience in budget management, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of the local market landscape, consumer behaviour, and cultural nuances within the country. Experience in the veterinary sector is desirable but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms such as CRM systems, marketing automation software, and analytics tools

Annual Leave Entitlement: 23 annual leave days plus public holidays (regional)


Additional Leave for office closure: Additional leave on the afternoon of the 24th and the 31st December.


Weekly Hours: 40
